Like the tittle say’s we are off to do a few days heli skiing at Mica Lodge.
Bataleon
Earlier on in the season FTC was sent to photograph a small bunch of dedicated Bataleon snowboard riders at Sun Peaks. They are all die hard fans of the triple base technology and Bataleon has treated the riders with similar respect. One boarder stood out far above the others and that was Chris Smith in the almost brown uniform, his laid back positive attitude and talent was far and above. Also to Ash for always jumping back after a spill, she always gives it her best.
Arvo Session
With the warm temps on Wednesday and the clear overnight skies it was an icy morning but it also kept it fresh up in the crystal bowl. It did start to slush up in the afternoon down low. It wasn’t the best for riding but made it easier to reshape the Valley Trail tree run.

With a few centimeters over night and a brief break this mornning, it has not stopped snowing all day. Today was great fun but if this keeps up tomorow is going to be a cracker.
The Gills
Burfield
Burfield has been the place to be this week. Since last sunday nights dump some great stashes are still to be found, that is if you can see through the fog that the top of the world has been in.
Fresh and Foggy
Fresh days are always good days and today was a good day with 10cm or more of to snow shred. More should be on the way later this week
